SKY GARDENS, LIMERICK

Based at a strategic point between Upper William Street and Upper Gerald Griffin Street in Limerick City, this urban network of mixed program use (20,000 sq.m) imagines a urban sequence that extends idea of a living city centre. Comprising a series of interconnected courtyards and gardens and addressing the street with two tapering towers, the proposal becomes activated by gradual transitions of the ground surface and begins to create a new sustainable model within the active city.
